My number one priority is customer satisfaction. I will work with you to ensure you are
completely comfortable with the work to be performed. You will have a clear understanding of the finished product,
project timeframe, and prices or estimates before any work begins. Since my work is primarily through customer
referrals and repeat business, your satisfaction keeps me employed!
I will provide as pleasant and least disruptive a work environment as possible while the project is in progress.
Debris and dust will be confined to the work area. I will schedule my hours to fit your schedule. The work area will
be 'tidied' up at the end of each day, free of charge.
Free Consultations and Estimates
I will meet with you to discuss your project or repairs and provide you with a time and cost estimate of the
work to be performed. If drawings or layouts are necessary to help you visualize the final project, I will
also provide those as part of the free consultation.
Free Hours for Work Referrals!
Since most of my work comes from customer referrals, I encourage you to pass my name along to friends and neighbors.
Referrals can mean free work from me to you:
- Each referral that results in at least 2 days' (16 hours) work, earns you two hours of work free of charge!
- Each referral that results in at least 1 day's (8 hours) work, earns you one hour of work free of charge!
- Each referral that results in at least a 1/2 day's (4 hours) work, earns you 1/2 hour of work free of charge!
This is a great way to tackle those small items that have needed attention without making a dent in your
budget.
Fixed Price or Time and Materials Projects
For larger projects (not miscellaneous small repairs or "Honey Do" lists), I can provide a detailed estimate
of the cost of the project on a time and materials basis, or a fixed price for the entire project. Time and
materials means that I will charge you for the materials I use (at the price I pay for them) and for the hours
I spend working on your project. I do not charge for the time to buy the materials, travel to or from your house,
clean-up at the end of the day, etc. I only charge for time spent actually working on the project.
Generally, time and material projects end up being cheaper than fixed price projects. With fixed
price projects I have to include time for potential unexpected complications, which can be significant when
working on older houses.
